Not an emergency service
Signal RVA does not receive emergency calls and does not dispatch help. If anyone may be in danger, call 911 or the appropriate official emergency number.
Map locations can be approximate
Pins may reflect an exact point, geocoded address, block, road segment, intersection, neighborhood, corridor, or broader area. A marker is context, not proof that an event occurred at a specific home or business.
Radio and source context is limited
Scanner, active-call, traffic, camera, rail, aircraft, and weather sources can be delayed, removed, offline, encrypted, incomplete, or wrong. Signal RVA does not publish restricted streams, captured cookies, or private playback URLs.
Visuals and cameras
Scenario visuals are illustrative unless clearly identified as a source image. Traffic cameras and map tiles are third-party or public-source context and may not show the relevant incident, current conditions, or full road scene.

No legal, medical, tactical, traffic, or safety advice
Signal RVA does not provide legal advice, medical advice, emergency instructions, tactical guidance, evacuation instructions, route-planning advice, or law-enforcement guidance. Do not use the site to decide whether a place is safe, whether to approach an incident, or whether to ignore official instructions.
Misuse
Do not interfere with responders
Do not use Signal RVA to follow emergency vehicles, identify victims, harass people, enter restricted areas, evade law enforcement, bypass road closures, interfere with public-safety operations, or create unsafe traffic behavior.
Advertising
Sponsors are separate from the signal
Ads and sponsor placements are commercial messages. They do not change incident summaries, map pins, labels, freshness, source health, or public-safety caveats. A sponsor placement is not an endorsement of any claim about an incident, neighborhood, road condition, person, agency, or outcome.
