If a Signal RVA card or map pin creates a privacy, safety, accuracy, copyright, or sensitivity concern, ask for review. The normal remedy is correction, location generalization, suppression, or removal of the public content Signal RVA controls.

When To Use

Good reasons to request review

A pin appears to identify a private residence more precisely than needed.
The map location is wrong or points to the wrong house, business, or block.
The listing exposes a minor, victim, witness, medical event, domestic situation, or other sensitive context.
The incident is duplicated, stale, corrected by an official source, or missing an important caveat.
An image, summary, or source label creates a safety, copyright, privacy, or accuracy concern.

What We Need

Include these details

The exact Signal RVA URL or enough card text to identify it.
The displayed incident title, location, and date/time if available.
The requested action: remove, correct, generalize, suppress, or review.
A short explanation of the safety, privacy, accuracy, or rights concern.
A contact email so we can ask follow-up questions if needed.

Process

How review works

1. Send the URL and concern

Include the Signal RVA page URL, incident title, approximate date/time, address or area, and what you want changed.

2. Explain your relationship

Tell us whether you are a resident, property owner, affected person, guardian, authorized representative, agency/source representative, or another concerned party.

3. Pick a requested action

Ask for correction, location generalization, card suppression, image removal, duplicate cleanup, or another specific action.

4. We review what Signal RVA controls

Signal RVA may correct, generalize, suppress, or remove its public card, pin, image, route, or summary. We cannot remove official public records, third-party pages, source portals, or search-engine caches.

Scope

What Signal RVA can and cannot do

Signal RVA can review content it controls.

That can include public cards, map pins, scenario images, summaries, source labels, route links, or cached public-site records.

Signal RVA cannot erase third-party records.

Official records, agency portals, third-party feeds, search results, archive pages, browser caches, and external screenshots are controlled by others.
